ebiz for media is an initiative that allows the media industry to conduct electronic transactions with their trading partners. This initiative continues to be a leading priority for media buying and advertising agencies, as well as media companies. Decreasing the manual work and errors that result from paper transactions between Media Companies & Media Buying/Advertising Agencies is the goal. Implementing a two-way electronic relationship between media traffic/sales systems and media buying systems, our industry will be able to realize:

The eBiz for Media initiative creates an open standard available to all involved in the advertising industry. By moving into an XML based data exchange methodology, manual entry, re-keying and costly errors can be greatly reduced if not eliminated completely.

Status

The system is currently in development by several industry groups participating in the ebiz for media lab.
