Background: HomeRentalAds.com is a comprehensive site for all types of residential rentals in the United States. They cover every state, metro area, county, city and town in the United States. They have thousands of listings for homes for rent, condos for rent, town homes for rent, lofts for rent, apartments for rent, duplexes/triplexes for rent, vacation home rentals and lease purchase homes.

Challenge: HRA's site was originally built in Perl and needed to be brought in line with today's standards. The site was also limited to regional listings only. Although HRA had good traffic and an average page rank, they were doing all SEO by hand. They came to Vexcom to bring their site up to date and to give them the capacity to handle national listings.

Solution: Vexcom rebuilt the site in Cold Fusion using MySQL Servers. An automated SQL Database was also built that allowed HRA to host national listings. They also did deep-routed SEO to help HRA's page rank and ultimately their web traffic.

Result: After only a few months, HRA was a target of acquisition by a few companies. Soon thereafter, they sold the site to a large corporation, who was purchasing the most influential real estate directories on the web. Vexcom was then contracted to do the backend integration of HRA to the new parent site, RentClicks.com.
